IT'S COLD!!!

We got snow Thursday/Friday and we weren't supposed to get any accumulation, but we got between 1 and 2 inches. We aren't planning on leaving the house, except to feed the cats.

It was 10 when I got up this morning and not supposed to get much above 20. I know it's colder than that in other places, but this is cold for Arkansas! And next week it is supposed to be back into the upper 50s/lower 60s and rain.

This was a relatively quiet week. We got all of the Christmas decorations boxed and put away for another year. The house looks bare!

We've both done well as far as health goes. Bill's cough has eased back some again. He hasn't been out walking since before Christmas. But, the weather was too bad with all the rain we had, and now the cold. I guess I'll just have to settle for him walking to and from the kitchen.

We are dr. free until the 2nd of February when we have to make a trip to Memphis to the pulmonologist. Then Bill should have his quarterly labs done and the end of the month we both have eye appointments. Then unless something happens, we're free of appointments until May.

Brianna's post op rehab is going well. I went with her to therapy Thursday and she now doesn't need to use her crutches. She still needs her brace but the therapist told her that another week and she can probably stop using it. I don't know if she will just go to her smaller brace or do completely without. 

That's about it for this week. I'm just planning on staying warm!
